Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 05/04/2007

Number: 1

According to my calender the hummingbirds are late, just like winter. Finally my first male. They are here to stay. They usually come when the wild columbine is out. The wild columbine has not yet bloomed, which is unusually late. So according to mother nature's clock he is early....could be a scout and not my birds. I can't wait for tomorrow to see if there are any other new arrivals.
