Barn Swallow (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/01/2007

Number: 1

While working on a pumphouse roof near a retention pond ,several Barn Swallows were observed feeding on insects,as well there were many old nests from the previous year scattered under the roof eaves ,so this building must be a popular site.

NOTE: I also found a nesting pair of Canada Geese on the grounds.I noted 10 eggs in the clutch. The geese were none too pleased with my observations and made it well known. The geese and I are all fine.
