I have an American robin nesting on our patio in a flower pot. The interesting fact is that I took the nest out of the pot so they would not nest so close to the house and she laid her 4 eggs anyway on the bare dirt. I was surprised that she did not rebuild the nest elsewhere or even rebuilt inthe same location before laying her eggs. Will the babies be protected enough with the flowers in the pot?
