I came home from school today, an hour after having checked the rubythroat map with my class. We were disappointed that no rubythroats had been sighted by us yet. When I sat down and looked at my new hummingbird feeder, the first I've ever put up, there he was, the first rubythroat I've ever seen in my yard! I can't wait until class 3S checks the map and sees that Yonkers is on there...I am so excited to see this beautiful visitor.
