We are planting appropriate plants at our zoo for butterflies. We have planted dill and parsley, sedum(Autum Joy), Maximillian Sunflower, Milkweed (common), evening primrose, and Ruda. One of our Zoo Edventure themes this summer is Birds, Butterflies, and Backyard Habitat. We are confident that by the time (July 17 to 19) we have this program there will be plenty of eggs and pupae for the students to enjoy.
