Given the temperatures in central TX this spring I'm expecting a very large, but slightly late, first generation wave of monarchs to move northward over the next three and a half weeks. Unless there are weather issues, the number of monarchs moving into the upper midwest should rival the numbers seen last spring in May and early June.
