Osprey,s on Reservoir gone this year? Saw two mature Bald Eagles ,one eating fish on cob creek, feeder to the Potic Mtn Reservoir-water supply for village of Catskill Ny I,m an artist been to Chilkat in Alaska.Know Bald Eagles well.Met Peter Nye 20 years ago on the Alcove Res.The caretaker (Red) introduced me to Peter.Peter seemed not happy to have me there,understandable.Thank you so much Peter , I told my 2 boys 9,10yrs that I was 34 and had to go to Alaska to see a bald Eagle in the wild.We don,t spread the word of our siting.And we havn,t been back since even though it is a 5 min walk through woods from our back door.Its enough just knowing they are back.
