Although my student have reported a number of monarchs spotted, it wasn't until a few of them found an egg on the milkweed near our parking lot that I believed our monarchs had returned. I confirmed the egg spotting, and because we have raised monarchs in our building for three years, it's a certainty that we have an egg!
