Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/23/2007

Number: 1

Four of the 19 Monarch eggs found on the 21st and 22nd have hatched, late this afternoon and evening. I'm expecting 7 more to be hatching before midnight. Two eggs are still really yellow so I'm going to pull those so they don't get eaten. Nasty T storms this evening along with extremely high winds and a green sky. Don't know if a tornado or funnel has been confirmed, but I'm sure glad those eggs and larvae are safe inside! :-)
