Last Sunday, May 20th, I observed a next on my porch swing seat. I later observed a robin going to the nest. Within the week, she laid 4 eggs, one each day. I am surprised she built her nest there, as we are on the porch readily and there are cats that come on the porch sometimes. However, it is amazing to witness such a natural and beautiful event! I only hope that she is able to carry out all of her hard work and that the eggs and babies will be OK.
