On Sunday, May 27 I saw two monarchs, one of them apparently (I didn't search the plants to confirm)laying eggs on swamp milkweed in a native plant nursery 25 km north ofthe north Perimeter Highway just west of Highway 59 outside Winnipeg.
On Monday, May 28 I saw a monarch feeding on a wild
geranium or cranesbill in my garden in south Winnipeg,
