I have been working with students in a first grade class on a butterfly project throughout the school year. One of the student’s in the class reported a Thursday afternoon sighting to me on Friday morning. Her sighting was on very warm, humid afternoon and the butterfly was flying in a student’s backyard after school. The wind was light that day but starting to pick up due to an impending thunderstorm.
