This is the earliest in the year that I have seen a monarch. It was so pretty and flitting around in my yard. The humidity doesnt bother them at all. They so love the sun. I have several milkweed plants by my back door. I didnt see the monarch there but hopefully she will lay her eggs there for me to take in to watch the metamorphasis.
