I saw my first Monarch of the season, a female monarch, neither very fresh nor very worn, fluttering around but not landing in a temporary plant nursery set up on a shopping center parking lot. I have lots of milkweed (common, swamp, sand vine, and tuberosa, in my garden, but have not spotted any eggs to date.
