Just a quick note to let you know that the drive from Carman to Winnipeg on May 31 produced numerous sightings of Monarchs, including the unfortunate beast bouncing off my windshield. Probably a couple of dozen sighted at the time and over the weekend the first drifted through my yard in southwest Winnipeg.
I think it safe to say they have arrived, en masse, in southern Manitoba.
