Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 06/09/2007

Number: 1

Another teacher and myself have been on the watch for the adult monarchs and have not seen any in South Jersey thus far. It was chillier in May, but June has been warm, especially the last few weeks. The milkweed along the railroad tracks at school is about 4-5 ft. high and ready to bloom, but there are no monarchs to be found. Should we in Jersey be alarmed?
