First tiny Monarch caterpillers appeared today (Jun 11, 2007)in my Swamp Milkweed (Asclepius incarnata). They are hiding in the growing tips of the plants beside the growing flower buds and covered by the new leaves that are still enfolding the flower bud. They are only 0.5 cm long... tiny!
