I have been seeing what I believe are some kind of variation of the American Robin. It seems to be a neighborhood anommally. The birds are the size and shape of typical robins. The song is that of a robin. But, these birds are mostly white with black spots. There is no pattern to the spots (much like a damation or cow). I wondered if they were just immature robins. I don't think they are. I have even observed a difference between males and females. Am I crazy? I may contact KAXE in Grand Rapids, MN. They do a great phenology report.
