So many monarchs and so little milkweed!

Here in Duluth, MN I am seeing many monarchs every day. However, this part of Minnesota is more northwoods type country, and, hence, not as much milkweed. The female monarchs seem to be flying all over in search of milkweed. There are several milkweed patches that I visit regularly, and I always see several monarchs flying around. More importantly, I am finding many, many eggs. The small patch of milkweed in my backyard is very popular. I have been observing female monarchs laying eggs quite regularly. It is not uncommon to find 2-3 eggs on some leaves. Most plants have more than 1 egg. My backyard patch has common, swamp, and butterfly weed. The common type milkweed seems to be preferred, but I find eggs on all three types.
