18 June 07. New York City. Manhattan. Riverside Park. Garden adjacent to 94th street tennis courts. About 6 p. m. yesterday evening I was looking for eggs on milkweed plants. I glimpsed a monarch being carried over the garden by the wind. No eggs, though.
