I spotted my first monarch yesterday morning, June 19, in my butterfly garden. He checked out my milkweed and then nectared on my German catchfly, centaurea dealbata and Dame's Rocket.

A neighbour down the road spotted a monarch the same day in the afternoon, possibly the same one.
