I just saw my first monarch of the season! I saw two (or the same one twice) within 10 minutes. I"ve been watching for monarchs and/or eggs for weeks in a large meadow covered with milkweed. I'm curious to see when I'll start to see eggs now that I'm sure monarchs have arrived. We've had such cool weather; the peonies are still in bloom!
