I thought I was seeing things when I spotted the monarch. Isn't it early to have them this far north allready?I first thought it was injured as it flew down and then just kept flapping it's wings as a newborn would.I went to investigate, and it flew off fluttering here/fro, as if to say, Hi I'm Home. :-)
