Today form the car my children and I spotted a monarch which had been blasted by a car on the highway. SO we stopped and picked it up . I never imagined it would stay alive. It is missing its upper left wing, a damaged eye and a broken antena. But it lasted all afternoon in the heat, and finally I found info on what they eat and put out some fruit and water. Boy did it take that on with great excitement. SO well take care of it as long as we can.
