Due to warmer weather conditions, the monarch we had in a chrysalis came out after 8 days and was ready to be released. The next day, a Monday, we released the butterfly from the school yard of The Autism Academy of Learning while six students, 3 paraprofessionals, and the teacher looked on. He soared into the sky and was soon out of sight.
