All Other Signs of Spring

We have observed what looks to be an Anna's hummingbird in our yard for several days and purchased a feeder yesterday. Today there is increased activity in our garden as well as some territorial behavior over the feeder. While feeding at some flowers, an Anna's (or possibly female rufous?) was approached and challenged by a beautiful copper male rufous. Very exciting! I haven't seen one since I left New Mexico 7 years ago.
