I have seen several female monarchs laying eggs on all three types of the milkweed we have in our yard! We were patiently waiting for some monarchs to visit our new monarch waystation and finally they atrrived! They love our common milkweed, the swamp milkweed and the butterfly weed , too! We will keep close watch and hopefully have lots of caterpillars soon! With all those eggs, the prospects are good... as long as the predators stay away!
