On Aug 5th there were 2 Monarchs in my garden. One was paying attention to the still blooming Butterfly Weed, Asclepius Tubersoa, (Milkweed), while the other was focused on marigolds. I am hoping that the one at the milkweed was laying eggs, as one did last year, but do not know whether or not it is too early in the season.
