I have a colony of hummingbirds living in a trumpetvine which grows on the south side of my house every year. There are many living in it at present. I am worried because I need to have my house painted before it gets too cold (early Sept)and I'm worried about where they will go if I take the vine down. When do these birds migrate back down south? Any suggestions?
