Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 08/24/2007

Number: 1

Amazing! I work in my dining room and over the course of the day kept noticing movements over the pool and around the shrubs behind our pool. At about 4:30 today, I went out only to see about 50-100 monarchs fluttering around all of the shrubs in our yard. Further to that, when I walked by the shrubs along the back perimeter of the yard, they lit from the trees to the air. It was at that point that I realized how many were in the trees.

Truly a sight to behold. It was magical!
