Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 08/21/2007

Number: 1

at first we were quite surprised to see so many butterflies near the beach, but as we went for bike rides along the trails, we also observed clusters of Monarchs near milkweed and on some tree branches. My estimate of the largest cluster we saw was approximately 35 or so.
