Signs of Fall

I found this website while looking for information about the monarch migration and then also got interested in hummingbirds. I realized there aren't many sources for nectar right now, so today I purchased two hummingbird feeders. I've only put one out so far. I just saw my first ruby-throat a few minutes ago, 4 hours after putting the feeder out. Tomorrow I might put out the other feeder along with a butterfly feeder I bought a few years ago. Next year I will plant more flowers so I don't have to rely so much on feeders. I forgot to mention I also have goldfinches feasting on coneflower seeds. This is fun!
