Late this afternoon, there were probably 200-300 monarchs gathered in a wooded area near a local school. It was a sunny day, mid-70's, no precip. I have been seeing a few monarchs here and there throughout the day, more than usual, by this is a first for me to see a "roost"...very exciting! They were mostly all resting, with only a few in flight. I am SO thankful to my friend for telling me, and I got some nice pics and video.
