"Bulba" has migrated as of September 2. Bulba is the nickname I gave to a male hummer who has visited my feeder for three years. He has distinct markings and is quite stout, like the Star Wars namesake. He was the first male to arrive on May 1. He was looking disshevled in the past few weeks. Perhaps I won't see him next May.I have enjoyed watching him defend my window feeder.
Now, we see many young hummers visiting,loading up on food to help them to make their way south.
