This is the second year we have seen the Monarchs gathering in the trees at Linwood Park in Vermilion Ohio. We are right on the shore of Lake Erie and we assume they are resting after crossing the lake. There is a grove of very large Oak and other trees. We notice them often in a Birch Tree. Although we saw thousands last year, this year so far only around 100 or so.
