Aug 28th, Garden Peninsula, little north of Fairport. We were trying to get to the point of the peninsula but no roads or at least not for our vehicle. At 1:30 pm we drove through a small woodlot (45.646 N, 86.654 W) and saw some monarchs flitting about. We stopped and saw some roosting as well. Counted about 50 from the road only, as it was private property.
