Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 06/29/2007

Number: 1

I live in the little village of Dunster, off Hwy 16.
30k East of Dunster, at the junction of Hwy 16 and Hwy
5 is the small village of Tete Jaune (translates as "Yellow Head" from French). That is where I saw the Monarch. The photo I sent is the actual insect, as it was dying when I spotted it (struck by vehicle - June 29/07). I agree, this sighting is amazing.
Well, the Monarchs are amazing!
