A friend of mine and another monarch nut was at the Edwin F Hulbert Nature Preserve by Good Hart (zip code 49737) when they saw at least 100 monarchs on 8-21-07 from about 3 to 4 PM. They were in a wooded area and the butterflies were either roosting or flying about through the trees. Good Hart is real near Lake Michigan, where we would expect monarchs to concentrate.
