I have milkweed for these monarchs- I am 4 blocks from the beach & have had more eggs layed than ever! Every day there are two or three sipping nectar and egg laying. I believe I am an over wintering area, but these seem to have a mission!
They showed up initially around the 20th of august visiting my milkweed.
