Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/08/2007

Number: 1

We've been experiencing the "hummingbird wars" for about 10 days,as they became very possessive of the feeders. We've had one adult male ruby, an adult female and 2 juveniles. Saturday morning was the last we saw of the male. Good journey! The weather turned cold and rainy today (Monday) with spotty frost predicted by tomorrow night. The remaing female & little ones have stayed by the feeders all day today, shivering in the wet weather. We need a quick warm up if they're to stay into October!
