I just wanted to report that I tagged and released 5 monarchs today in Sykesville, Maryland. It was part of a group I've been doing with the patients where I work, and today was the first time we've actually gotten to tag any. We've released about 30 up to now, and I still have about a dozen chrysalises left at home. Can it really be getting close to the end of the season already??? Sigh...Oh well, it's been getting harder and harder to find good milkweed around here, so I guess it's all for the best!
