Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 09/12/2007

Number: 1

All but one family of swallows in our barn departed yesterday (Sept 11). I was so sad to not see them in the barn when I went in to say goodnight. I realized that there was one family with youngsters who still require some final flight lessons. It was a nice surprise. On occasion, parents have desserted nests of babies in order to migrate with the rest of the community. It is very sad.
