We traveled from St. George, Utah, to Mt. Pleasant, Utah, to find monarch caterpillars as a science experience for my kindergarten children in St. George. We saw two monarch butterflies and were able to find six caterpillars. We are excited to watch the life cycle in class and then have a "going away party" as we let them fly away. We probably would have found more if we had gone a week earlier.
