We have seen about 6 Monarchs on Thursday, September 13 on the butterfly bush in our school yard. On Monday, September 17 we observed only one. We also did not seen as many larvae this year as we did last summer. We are not sure what the reason is because our host plants are thriving and weather conditions seemed okay.
