Droves of Pelicans are here now beginning last week. The last time I went to my lake to fish, we crossed over the Arkansas River and there were hundreds on the water. Just today, I spotted a group of the massive birds flying towards the largest lake in this area (Kaw Lake). Apx. 50 were in that group.
