We drove down Sunday morning around 9:00 am & the temperature by us was about 50 degrees, but sunny. We did not see any flying on the way down, but once we got there, they were all over. What a delight! They seemed very mellow, not at all like the ones I release who can’t seem to get away quick enough. They were just drifting by on the breeze & nectaring on all the flowers.
Someone mentioned as she walked on one of the trails by the lighthouse one tree just erupted in butterflies. Wish I had seen it.
