Sept. 17
Today only half of the students (35) made observations. During the 20 minute observation time, they recorded 39 migrating monarchs.

Sept. 16
Students continued to be diligent with their 20 minute observations. Today the students observed 96 migrating monarchs in the 20 minutes.

Sept. 15
This day was quite successful with a total of 76 monarchs counted during the required 20 minute observation period.

Sept. 14
Today the weather was windy and cold. Students were persistent and did see 39 monarchs migrating in 20 min.

Sept. 13
Today the 65 students on Nova Crew sighted 140 monarchs in 20 minutes in directional flight to Mexico. It seems that almost every student saw at least one.
