Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/09/2007

Number: 1

The Monarch Butterflies are migrating across Nebraska. We have noticed many of them flying across the roads and highways and Sunday night I went out in the common ground and saw many flying high around the trees. I followed one with my eyes and it joined a roost of 25 individuals. There were several roosts high in the Maple and Cottonwood trees.
