About six o'clock in the evening, I was outside in my backyard. I noticed quite a few Monarch butterflies and then realized they were all flying to one particular tree in our backyard. They were hanging in bunches on the ends of several branches. I got my camera and took many pictures, which I have to share with you, if you'd like. (Because it was cloudy, they aren't as good as I would like, but aren't too bad either.) We had a rain last night and I was afraid they might be gone this a.m., but when I looked, many remain, although not all. It is still cloudy and wet, but if it clears, I will take some more pictures. Esitmated count: 500-1,000?
