September 18 was our last sighting of any Ruby Throated Hummingbirds.

The last male Ruby Throated Hummer was spotted here on August 31, and from that time until September 18th we've spotted daily either females or juveniles.

There was no clear-cut weather event to send them on their way... it has been un-seasonably warm and there is still Jewel Weed in bloom.
